Our team collaborates with business partners to identify workforce needs that can be effectively addressed through internships. During the summer, students will be integrated into your workforce for 10 to 40 hours per week, training alongside your team with the goal of contributing meaningfully and delivering a return on investment throughout their internship.
Before beginning their internship, students complete a college-level professional skills course and participate in programming designed to enhance career readiness and self-awareness. Their on-the-job experience is further supported by ongoing professional coaching from an Avenue Scholars staff member.
Additionally, your business will receive full-time support from an Avenue Scholars staff member to ensure a successful partnership. Aside from providing interns with a competitive hourly wage, there is no cost to your organization to participate in the internship program.
